This lively, interactive training will give K-12 educators dozens of practical strategies they can use tomorrow to better manage their classes and students. Both prevention and intervention techniques are shared and modeled. Every participant will walk away with the tools they need to create the safe and structured learning environment they’ve always wanted.

​Instructor:  Katie Anderson, M.Ed., NBCT
Katie is a National Board Certified Teacher and 15-year classroom veteran, teaching all grades K-12 through her work with the Wake County Public School System in North Carolina and Duke University’s Talent Identification Program. She has also served as a mentor teacher, teacher trainer, and curriculum designer within her state and district. On the national level, as an educational consultant with Conscious Teaching, Katie brings her passion and enthusiasm for education and educators to schools and districts across the country. She specializes in providing schools and districts with research based, easy-to-implement strategies and concepts that help teachers reach all students and improve the effectiveness of their teaching.
