
McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act & Foster Care Under ESSA presentations
Come learn about changes to McKinney-Vento and the new rules around foster care that go into effect on Dec. 10, 2016.
Presentations will take place January 18, 2017 in Missoula and January 26, 2017 in Kalispell. The presentation will cover the following topics – school stability, credit accrual & college readiness, preschool, FERPA, foster care & liaison responsibilities.
1-1.5 hours for the presentation and then 30-45 minutes of Q&A.
Who should attend? – homeless liaisons, administrators, school counselors, or anyone else who would benefit from homeless training.
