Immerse yourself in the beautiful practices of Natural Mindfulness. Enjoy this 2 day workshop inviting you to develop and explore a mindfulness practice based in nature. Within the comfort of the Hummingbird lodge yurt you will move in your creative body through yoga and guided into connection with the earth through meditation.  Following, you will be exploring nature based mindfulness and art practices in the forests of the Miller Creek drainage.

We will delve into the importance of a personal exploration of mindfulness and the benefits they hold for your students and the classroom space.  This workshop will  provide teachers with accessible arts based mindfulness techniques. These are tools you can use in your personal and professional life.  Throughout the weekend Kate will guide you to develop a sense of belonging to yourself, each other and the natural world.

Bring your own yoga mat, journal and hiking shoes.  Please be prepared for the elements! Also, any art supplies you would like. There will be filtered water and tea available but no food will be provided. A sack lunch can be stored in a fridge and snacks are encouraged.
