MT EPAS Teacher Evaluation on Steroids is administrator leader training and support focused on teacher observation and evaluation processes and procedures. Attend one or all of the five sessions. ​ Sessions 2-5 are follow-up workshops for school leaders on all four components of the EPAS model.  This online training is intended for identified district leaders focused on clinical supervision processes,  collecting and analyzing classroom observation data, and professional growth plans. 

Intended outcomes: Increase leader competencies and knowledge focused on teacher evaluation and observation. Schools Leaders will learn to effectively collect and analyze unbiased observation data to support job-embedded staff professional development.

Session 1: Introductory Session
Monday, February 15, 2021  8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (4.5 hours) 

Session 2: Professional Growth Goal Session 
Monday, February 22, 2021  8:30 a.m. to 10.30 a.m. (2 hours) 

Session 3: Formal and Informal Observation Data Analysis Session 
Monday, March 1, 2021  8:30 a.m. to 10.30 a.m. (2 hours) 

Session 4: Pre-Post Observation Conferences Session 
Monday, March 8, 2021 8:30 a.m. to 10.30 a.m. (2 hours)

Session 5: Job-Embedded Professional Development Session

Registration fee options:  
$199/per person for all Sessions 1-5
$99 for Session 1 only
$79 for taking an individual session (Sessions 2-5)

Leaders will have electronic access to JIGSAW Consulting applicable resources. A guide for Montana School Leaders Supporting the implementation of Montana Employee Appraisal System Guide will be provided to support all training sessions.

About the instructor:  
​Dr. Jo Swain has served as an elementary principal, central office administrator and school superintendent. Additionally, Dr. Swain taught Clinical Supervision at the higher education level to over 125 aspiring leaders completing a master of educational leader degree. These years of leadership experience have provided her with a wealth of information and experience designed to assist you in your leadership journey!
