
Trauma Support Cohort for School Administrators with Stacy York Nation, LCSW

Are you exhausted, tired, running out of new ideas, and need extra support? This cohort is for you. We all know that administrators have very few people they can lean on to talk through the difficult decisions they are faced with each day. This group is to provide a safe space to address those tough topics and give new ideas for how to support students, teachers, and parents.
This eight week course will be hosted on Zoom remote conferencing. The structure of each weekly meeting (75 minutes each) will be:

Who should attend? School Administrators (A maximum of six per cohort. Only one administrator per district in each cohort is preferred. However, if you have more wanting to participate in a cohort, exceptions can be made.)
DATES for 2022:

Nov. 1, 8, 15
Tuesdays from 12:45-2:00 pm
Cost: $479/per person for the 8 week cohort (You will receive an invoice via email.)
Credits: 8 Montana OPI renewal units provided (1 unit per session)
Instructor: Stacy G. York Nation, LCSW, Social Worker
Stacy is a licensed clinical social worker who got her start in school based mental health. She has a small private practice in Colorado. Stacy has spent the last 5 years traveling the country to train and educate professional educators on trauma-informed care. Stacy completed a grant project with Montana’s OPI that included the completion of a trauma-informed student handbook template. Stacy is familiar with the rural nature of Montana and all that goes with that in trying to meet the needs of a community. Stacy also serves as a Behavioral Health Officer in the Wyoming Army National Guard. This experience has provided Stacy with opportunities to work with higher level officials in problem solving hard, tough system issues.
