Using current curriculum and/or existing assignments, we’ll learn how to help students express themselves with fiction and nonfiction. With short texts—poetry, picture books, newspaper clippings, and blogs, we’ll explore how to imitate form, sentence structure, and other noteworthy features of good writing.
