VISION:  Your Resource for Professional Learning

MISSION:  To provide high quality professional development opportunities and services which support communities of lifelong learners to achieve successful outcomes for children, youth, and the Western Montana community.  Areas of focus shall include, but not be limited to:  Professional Development, Consultation, Technical Assistance, Technology Services, Purchasing Services, and all other areas authorized by law. 

As stated in the Corporation's Articles of Incorporation, the Corporation is organized and shall be operated exclusively for charitable and educational purposes within the meaning of Code Section 501(c)(3).  


This is being accomplished through offering:
  • Regional and statewide professional development offerings
  • Advertisement of training opportunities offered and through other entities via NewsFlashes, emails, social media and the website
  • Onsite Training, consultation and technical assistance
  • Event Coordination for workshops and conference sponsored by other entities, including registration, provision of CEU’s, and handling registration fees for organizations needing support
  • Technology services to include but not be limited to setting up websites, providing onsite support and technical assistance
  • Educational discounts for products/services/subscriptions
  • Technology training​

WMPLC operates these programs in Western Montana (See Region V) and throughout the state of Montana.  We currently serve 826 schools, 703 administrators, 10,686 certified staff and 145,634​ students.
